Working to add info about transmission concerns for this vehicle, a major issue for customers, as evidenced by reporting in Edmunds, AutoTrader and Car and Driver. These are reliable, notable sources, and the transmission is such a major issue with vehicle that Google autocomplete for "tlx transmission" returns multiple items.
Cleanupmdx, looks like you pay close attention to Honda pages, but I'd like to say this is a notable issue for this vehicle. Will also add story from Associated Press on this. BrianPK (talk) 21:17, 14 January 2016 (UTC)
Note, Associated Press story seems a bit opinionated, so not adding, but adding for additional info on notability of edits or if others feel it's relevant http://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/business/2015/10/21/complex-new-transmissions-causing-headaches-for-drivers.html "Honda Motor Co. took a risk and put two new transmissions — an eight-speed dual-clutch and a nine-speed — in its 2015 Acura TLX sedan. Consumer Reports said they had multiple problems, and the Acura brand slipped seven spots to 18th in this year’s survey" BrianPK (talk) 21:26, 14 January 2016 (UTC)

Full-size? Excuse me?
editThis is literally the furthest thing from a full-size car, when it's barely larger than an Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, and Mercedes C-Class 71.94.157.155 (talk) 09:47, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
EPA passenger volume: 93 cu.ft. for TLX (2022)
Compacts from Germany: 92 cu.ft. for A4 (2022), 94 cu.ft. for 3 Series (2022), 90 cu.ft. for C-Class (2021)
Midsizers from Germany: 99 cu.ft. for A6 (2022), 99 cu.ft. for 5 Series (2022), 98 cu.ft. for E-Class (2022)
Full-sizers from Germany: 111 cu.ft. for A8 (2022), 114 cu.ft. for 7 Series (2022), 112 cu.ft. for S-Class (2022)
Rear legroom space: 34.9" for TLX (2022)
Compacts from Germany: 35.7" for A4 (2022), 35.2" for 3 Series (2022), 36.0" for C-Class (2022)
Midsizers from Germany: 37.4" for A6 (2022), 36.5" for 5 Series (2022), 35.8" for E-Class (2022)
Full-sizers from Germany: 44.3" for A8 (2022), 44.4" for 7 Series (2022), 44.0" for S-Class (2022)
So explain to me how the TLX is a full-size car before I start editing the article 71.94.157.155 (talk) 09:47, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
- Do I also need to mention wheelbase? It's exactly 113 inches on the dot for the TLX. The compact German luxury sedan wheelbases range from 111.0-112.8". The midsize German luxury sedan wheelbases range from 115.1-117.1". The full-size German luxury sedan wheelbases range from 123.1-126.6". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.94.157.155 (talk) 09:52, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
- I changed it to mid-size btw 71.94.157.155 (talk) 09:57, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
