I am currently making images of the chemical reactions mentioned in the "Chemical Reactions" section, and I plan to upload them when I'm done. Also I plan to investigate the reactions of acyl halides with Gilman and Grignard reagents for possible inclusion in the "Chemical Reactions" section.

I"m also planning to write a short new section at the end called "Synthesis", where I will discuss the synthesis of acyl halides (or at least chlorides). H Padleckas 22:38, 25 Mar 2005 (UTC)


I plan on working on the following things;

1) Preparation Section

- Find more information about the preparation of the acyl halides as well as add the preparation of additional acyl halides that were not mentioned.

- Add images showing each reaction

2) Reactions Section

- Add more reactions that are possible with acyl halides

- Improve captions of images (explain them better

- Talk about conditions needed for the reactions to take place

3) Hazards Section

- Expand more on the information in this section

4) References Section:

- Some of the references are unable to be viewed by the public and reader has to pay to read them, therefore going to find alternative sources
