The wording of this article implies there was a Governor of Australia, which was not the case because what was to become Australia in 1901 was at this time a group of separate colonies. Perhaps it was the Governor of Victoria or the Governor of New South Wales. angela26 09:29, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

Clearly contains original research

I agree. The 'legacy' section is written in very non-encyclopedic language. I've added a neutrality dispute thing at the top. SDavies (talk) 17:09, 28 December 2013 (UTC)

Where was he born?

This article, in the main text, has Adam Lindsay Gordon being born near Cheltenham, England while the caption under his portrait has him being born in the Azores. Worrying for the accuracy of the article in general.

The one romance??

Seems inane to assert that Gordon's unrealised relationship with Jane Bridges was the one romance of his life when he later married Margaret and they had a daughter. Aboctok (talk) 19:05, 22 February 2021 (UTC)
