is this real or fake?

http://www.bunkmag.com/bunklets/sandler.html

Clearly fake, read the lyrics. Crumbsucker 07:46, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
Also, there is no documented link stating that Sandler appeared at the 2004 GOP Convention. Though outed in Details magazine, Sandler has kept his political views to himself. The text saying he appeared at the Convention should be removed unless it can be proven. See me let go 21:51, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

MTV Remote Control

No mention of his roles on Remote Control on MTV? His "Cousin Stickpin" and "Studboy" characters often had Colin Quinn, Kari Wurher & Ken Ober rolling.

people its true

stop taking of the part the gets angry in each movie because he does and he yells and he send his time feeding lamas

Adam Sandler hints to the fact he smokes pot, such as in Click and while producing Grandmas Boy.

Adam Sandler plays CHARACTERS in his movies - if he makes a line about pot, or he produces a movie that emphasizes pot, it doesn't mean he smokes pot. This is a ridiculous discussion. Anonymous~Source 23:04, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

Actor chains

Has anyone ever mapped out how which actors have had multiple appearances in Adam Sandler movies? It's a bit anal, but it might be interesting to see which faces continue to reappear. The article mentions Allen Covert, Blake Clark, Steve Buscemi, Peter Dante, Jonathan Loughran, and Rob Schneider but there's also Henry Wrinkler, Drew Barrymore, etc ...

AlGorup 02:11, 26 June 2006 (UTC)

I highly agree with this statement. It is a recurring thing in almost every movie he is in and should be noted in this article just like the relationship with Rob Schneider is pointed out, these other friendships should be too.

This article is one of thousands on Wikipedia that have a link to YouTube in it. Based on the External links policy, most of these should probably be removed. I'm putting this message here, on this talk page, to request the regular editors take a look at the link and make sure it doesn't violate policy. In short: 1. 99% of the time YouTube should not be used as a source. 2. We must not link to material that violates someones copyright. If you are not sure if the link on this article should be removed, feel free to ask me on my talk page and I'll review it personally. Thanks. ---J.S (t|c) 07:24, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

Deeper revert

An anon vandalized the page, several fixed parts of the edit, but I don't think they caught everything. I reverted it back to before the vandalism. Somebody who knows more about the topic should see if some valid edits got dropped in the process. wrp103 (Bill Pringle) 03:37, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

Info Boxes

The list of his films looks a little primitive, can we not get an infobox at the bottom that lists his films in two categories, Starring and Produced.

So it would be:-

Starring Going Overboard (1989), Shakes the Clown (1992), Coneheads (1993), Airheads (1994), Mixed Nuts (1994), Billy Madison (1995), Happy Gilmore (1996), Bulletproof (1996), The Wedding Singer (1998), The Waterboy (1998), Big Daddy (1999), Little Nicky (2000), Punch-Drunk Love (2002), Mr. Deeds (2002), Eight Crazy Nights (2002), Anger Management (2003), 50 First Dates (2004), Spanglish (2004), The Longest Yard (2005), Click (2006)

In production Reign Over Me (2007), I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry (2007), Stu the BSB (2007), Crood Awakening (2008)

Produced by Dirty Work (1998), Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo (1999), The Animal (2001), The Hot Chick (2002), Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo (2005)

Other Testing Dirty (1990), A Day with the Meatball (2002), Pauly Shore Is Dead (2003), Stupidity (2003), The Couch (2003)

Then this could be added to each of the films listed above.

Year of the Horse?

Is it really necessary to have year of the horse by his birth date? 207.161.35.38 01:03, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

No --Ferdia O'Brien 12:54, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
So it's just going to stay there? Fine with me...142.161.184.227 23:30, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
No I think it should be removed, I dont think any Zodiacs should be mentioned unless thats the whole point of an article, the sign can be deduced from the persons DOB. Infact if there is no objections, I'll remove it. --Ferdia O'Brien 18:38, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
Great! Your previous reply confused me. 142.161.188.145 01:36, 26 February 2007

Vandalism

This article was heavily vandalized and I tried my best to remove all traces of vandalism. If I have not done this properly please do not call ME the vandal. I tried.JeanColumbia 21:10, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Product placement...

What's the point of this section? As it stands now, it is all original research. If not either cited or massively fixed in the next couple of days, I am looking to remove it. --Ali'i 00:22, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

I don't see why this is here. In most movies, especially that made in the past decade, you will find a good amount of product placement seeing how it helps make a film profitable. Also considering that Adam Sandler films tend to be targeted at the exact group that advertisers are trying to reach, it isn't surprising to find that his films would have product placements. But these are not out of line with other films. For instance, Final Destination 3 has numerous uses of Apple products or direct mention of Apple products, Grindhouse has people using (IIRC) Cingular cell phones, and the Forty Year Old Virgin has that can of Fanta in the poker game that just happens to be in focus most of the time and the logo is facing the camera directly. The product placement in Adam Sandler films don't seem notable compared to other films, and it does seem to be original research. --THollan 05:12, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Slightly Random

This could be the one page I've seen where a majority of anonymous editors make thoughtful contributions and not vandalism. Good Job to all those IP users who have helped contribute to this page Black Harry 03:24, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

Notable Roles

The Notable Roles section is pretty much the favorite movies of whoever edited that section last. We should try to get some consensus on what roles he is most noted for. My suggestions for that section would be the main characters from; Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, the Waterboy, Anger Management, and Little Nicky.

Any Objections or Additions? BH (Talk) 17:16, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

How about this for all his film pages?

I've created it as a template and attacted it to all the relevant pages, any updates to it can be added to the template page. Darrenhusted 22:46, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

penis

wat about his over circusised penis, that is made reference in the movie bulletproof and click,, and i tink 3 others, i need to see to be certain...

Separate Production and Acting

right now, all of his work is under the 'acting career', regardless of the role he played in the movie. This should likely edited to separate, or turn it into a general 'career' section. I'll look at it later (I'm at work, and can do small edits, but nothing involving a lot of thought & analysis), so if someone else wants to give it a whirl, I'd encourage it. --Thespian 19:57, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

Piles of Deletions

I just deleted a LOAD of WP:Fancruft from the Similarities section, streamlining it a lot.

In several cases, I don't mind if it gets re-added, but it MUST be readded with more citations than it has; if you're going to say he's a Yankees fan, for example, and uses that a lot in his films, you need to provide at least 3, if not more, examples of that. I could say because both Being John Malkovich and Serendipity took place in New York, it's a theme of John Cusak films, but that's not true, it's just two random samples. On the other hand, John Cusack has worked with his high school friend , Jeremy Piven, in 10 movies. Thats an actual theme. So those are the sort of things that need to be looked for if the section is to stand. --Thespian 04:51, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

Themes in Sandler's films

How the New York Yankees aren't listed for themes in his films? Isn't he always making a reference about them in his films?--Kingforaday1620 21:40, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

Update needed: second child

Sandler announced on May 21, 2008 during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno that he and his wife are expecting their second child. She is due in November. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Darkoline (talkcontribs) 19:48, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Birthdate incorrect

Adam Sandler's birthday is 9 September 1966 not 30 September 1966 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Myfurther (talkcontribs) 00:23, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

I'm inclined to think he was born in 1966 and not in 2008. One of the dates must be off but I can't quite tell which one :P 190.19.34.105 (talk) 02:22, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

Adam Sandler Being Jewish

I know that some people don't care to have religion or ethnicity in articles. But having more on Adam Sandler being Jewish other "he had a Jewish upbringing" would be nice. I mean some of the work he has done in his career has had elements of his Jewish heritage in it. Mr. C.C. (talk) 07:19, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

TEΦ

In personal interviews, Adam Sandler denies being a member of any fraternity, including TEΦ. Please do not restore the reference in the article without a specific, citeable reference. In those same interviews, Adam has said that he is constantly being erroneously called a memeber of just about any fraternity because people want to believe it - believing it is not proving it.
