- Article is long enough and new enough; no sourcing, copyright, or content issues were found. Hook has good source and meets length and format criterion. However, QPQ is not done yet.--Orygun (talk) 04:02, 12 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Orygun: QPQ is done. Jon698 (talk) 21:08, 14 June 2021 (UTC)

- I'm not sure we should use the funeral home's obit -- these are often written by the family themselves, and are not independently verified.
"Bonetti petitioned himself onto the ballot": what does this mean?
No other issues. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 16:33, 25 August 2022 (UTC)
- @Mike Christie: I removed the "petitioned himself onto the ballot" part as it was unnecessary. Jon698 (talk) 15:13, 27 August 2022 (UTC)
- OK. How about the obit? I don't think we can use it. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 15:27, 27 August 2022 (UTC)
- @Mike Christie: I assume that the obituary appeared in a newspaper at one point. Legacy.com points to the funeral home obituary so I think it is okay. https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/name/addo-bonetti-obituary?id=5757061 Jon698 (talk) 15:57, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
- I don't think we can assume that -- legacy.com looks like an aggregator. I did try searching the web for strings from the obit and couldn't find it on any site that seemed independent of the funeral home. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 16:34, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
- Jon698, I had another look at this and I think the obit would be OK for everything except the bit about Iwo Jima and the Purple Heart. The rest is self-reported basic facts and is not controversial. If you remove the sentence about Iwo Jima and the Purple Heart I can pass this. However, there may be other sources that can be used to look up Purple Heart recipients if you want to try to keep that. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 09:33, 3 September 2022 (UTC)

- @Mike Christie: I apologize for my odd schedule. I returned to college in mid-August and my plan is to edit Wikipedia on the weekends in order for me to have a consistent amount of edits, rather than previous years where I don't edit at all for months. Sadly I am currently sick, but I should get better by today or tomorrow. Thank you for your help and patience on so many GA articles. Jon698 (talk) 12:56, 3 September 2022 (UTC)
- No problem; hope you feel better soon. I'll check in again next weekend if you haven't been able to post anything by then. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 13:04, 3 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Mike Christie: I made the edits you requested and found a source for his Purple Heart. I'll work on the Applegate article tomorrow. Jon698 (talk) 03:53, 5 September 2022 (UTC)
