editThe following was added to the article ([1]). I am moving it here to the talk page. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 02:55, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
- "The author of 'The Somali Court Interpreter,' 'Drums of War,' and 'Things We Have in Common' is an American-trained politician who had worked as an advocate for the human rights in Somalia for many years.Simply, be honest. (talk) 16:39, 10 August 2008 (UTC)"
Somali language references
editI had flagged some of the citations in this article, because they are non-English sources. In recent days, one editor removed these flags, with the justification that they had been used in other Wikipedia articles. Personally I don't think that's a legitimate reason, but I have addressed this in the other articles, as well. Another editor reasoned that the sources are read and understood by Somalis. Keep in mind that this is the English language Wikipedia, and must be understood and verifiable by anyone, not just Somalis. These resources, obviously, are fine for the Somali Wikipedia. It seems that Gedonet source is totally removed. Can the links be removed? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.192.69.26 (talk • contribs) 06:28, 25 November 2009
- The Gedonet links all result in a 404 error. I have marked them with {{Dead link}}, for the time being. Between the dead links and non-English sources, this article needs better attribution. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 06:57, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
