R.A.M.O.N.E.S.

edit

"Some versions of the album feature the bonus track "R.A.M.O.N.E.S." originally done by Motörhead as a tribute to the Ramones..." The booklet information of Hey Ho! Let's Go: The Anthology says the song "R.A.M.O.N.E.S." was included on the Japanese edition of Adios Amigos.(MrDeBeuker 00:16, 29 January 2006 (UTC))Reply

¡Adios Amigos!Adios Amigos (Ramones album) – A book/magazine search shows no trace of the exclamation marks in WP:RS https://www.google.co.uk/search?tbo=p&tbm=bks&q=ramones+%22adios+amigos%22&num=10. In ictu oculi (talk) 13:29, 13 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thanks but given that the titles are so similar and the Ramones album doesn't have the name on the CD cover, don't support that change to RM. In ictu oculi (talk) 23:35, 13 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Support move to Adios Amigos (Ramones album). Some sources use the pair of exclamation points, but not enough to say that the media is universally taking that route. Exclamation points are used by AllMusic, and Magnet magazine. Another magazine, New Noise, uses two in the article body but just one in the headline. Many other sources trim away the exclamation points entirely. Wikipedia tends to favor the elimination of stylistic quirks, unless very widely supported in sources, which is not the case here, and thus we move the article. In the background section of the article, it had the name “Johnny”. I know that this was referring to Johnny Ramone; however, it linked to the Johnny name page, and Johnny Ramone doesn’t appear in that article. So, to make it easier for readers interested in reading his Wikipedia article, I changed the link to “Johnny Ramone.” KevinML (talk) 10:24, 2 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
