Uelen
editWhere does Uelen fit in?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.149.197.132 (talk • contribs).
- Not on this page :) The lists on administrative divisions of Russian federal subjects only include districts, cities/towns, and urban-type settlements. Uelen is a village, and should be listed in the article about Chukotsky District (once it's written), along with other villages of that district. The reason why villages are excluded from this kind of lists is due to the large numbers of villages (some federal subjects have a few thousand of them)—including them would overwhelm the page.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 15:12, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
