Rehabilitation
editIs there any information on Heusinger's post World War II rehabilitation? This article lists the offices he held in the German military and NATO, but doesn't explain why they allowed a high ranking office in the Nazi regime to hold such offices.Inkan1969 (talk) 18:03, 27 January 2022 (UTC)
I was wondering the same thing. This article is very carefully worded 🤔 Mpalley (talk) 06:35, 11 September 2022 (UTC)
- It's a corporate article, heavily censored and monitored 2A01:CB00:7F:BB00:8171:61F:70B7:E0FA (talk) 12:34, 22 December 2022 (UTC)
"he published an essay"
edit"According to Heusinger's own autobiography, he published an essay ("Denkschrift"), which Hitler received very positively. "
Where was that "published", in Völkischer Beobachter?
It very obviously was not "published" at all. What Heusinger actually does say (in "Befehl in Widerstreit") is that he wrote the Denkschrift while under Gestapo arrest, and it found its way to Hitler who indeed responded positively in a subsequent meeting with Heusinger. 2A02:AA1:1149:651A:DDD3:CDD6:1AD3:F1D9 (talk) 22:15, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
