Adolph Meyer has had a huge impact upon the delivery of mental health services in America. His ideas about the Psycho-Social aspects of mental illness became the cornerstone of the Social Work Profession in America. The psycho-social diagnosis came to include Biological factors as well. His ideas in many ways have been supported by the works and writings of Ken Wilber, one of the most influential philosophical and sociological scientists of the late Twentieth and early Twenty-First centuries. Nice work with the article so far.

The Further readings section has a lot of information that can be added to the body of the article. It should also be cut down in length and have external links added.

Wikipedia links should be added to the Phipps Clinic and a few other major people and institutions mentioned within the article.

The legacy section is quite lengthy, and difficult to understand. Perhaps sort it into publications, awards, appointments, etc.

In-text citations are matched with links in the Notes section. They should be in the References section.

In the information box at the beginning, is Influences and Influenced necessary? Some of the people are never mentioned in the article.

I also think you should change the title of the medical career section to early career since you talk about his later work at Hopkins in the next section. Great job on this article! I particularly love the extensive further reading; this would make an excellent base camp for someone trying to put together a lot of information on Meyer. One suggestion I have (it's small) would be to change the Legacy order. His contributions to psychology, I would argue, are far more important than "People" and I just think it might look and flow better if you switched that order. Also, "Time in New York" seems a bit informal; maybe "New York" would sound better? Also, it would be pretty cool if you could find out some of his students, since you mention that many of them went on to big things. Is he the same author of the PhD dissertation titled Wesen und Geschichte der Theorie vom Mikro- und Makro-kosmos (OCLC 601889854) and published in Bern in 1900??

The Austrian psychiatrist Rudolf Allers gave an account about the very low academic quality of his doctoral dissertation (JSTOR 27830052). He attributed to Nicolaus Cusanus and Paracelsus the coin of the word macrocosmus, and ignored the homonimous threaty written by Godfrey of Saint Victor four centuries before, which was unedited until 1944, but whose existence was otherwise known. An interest for the macrocosmus would also be relevant in order to corroborate the affiliation of Meyer to the Satanist Freemasonry since his youth.Theologian81sp (talk) 09:35, 12 June 2021 (UTC)
