I think that the title of this article is not correct. The APEX experiment was run on the [LDEF] and its name is the Advanced Photovoltaic Experiment. It was not a separate satellite as far as I know. The satellite whose name was also APEX is correctly referred to in the article as the "Advanced Photovoltaics and Electronics Experiments".
