Other Adventurelands...
editI'd like to start a page about Adventureland, the amusement park located in Altoona, Iowa. Does someone want to create an ambigious page for that? (The name is "Adventureland," but it is often called "Adventureland Park". Since Disneyland is also called "Disneyland Park" but not listed that way in the Wikipedia, I expect a decision has to be made: new page for "Adventureland Park" (which I doubt anyone would be searching for - they'd just search for Adventureland) or...? --Allen Huffman 21:59, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not quite sure what you're proposing.
- If you want to rename the existing article and replace it with a dab page, that would be a bit of a pain, because a lot of articles point to the existing article. For user friendliness, those links would need to be updated.
- How do you feel about just adding a little to the existing dab paragraph at the top of the Adventureland article? It might be changed to this:
- Adventureland is an area in Disney parks, a text adventure game by Scott Adams, and a small theme park located on Long Island. Adventureland Park is an amusement park located in Altoona, Iowa. This article is about the Disney park region.
- By the way, are you the Allen Huffman of the Park Hopping Podcast? ManoaChild 23:16, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, I see how it works. That seems reasonable. And, for better or worse, yes, that's me. Adventureland is my home park, I guess. --Allen Huffman 04:51, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
- It's nice to meet you, and I enjoy your podcast. ManoaChild 05:53, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
- Looks like we have a disambiguation page now. Is there a standard template for theme parks I should apply to the Adventureland (Iowa) page? (Thanks for the comment. It's almost embarassing to run in to someone who listens to me yammer.) --Allen Huffman 16:56, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
- The only ones that I'm aware of are so Disney specific that they probably won't help you. The theme/amusement park articles are all so different, that I doubt that a general template exists. One thing that I would suggest is that you browse Category:Amusement parks, to get an idea of what other articles are like. When you're finished with your initial edits, you probably want to put your article into that category (by adding [[Category:Amusement parks]] at the end of the article). That will help others find your article. ManoaChild 20:46, 6 January 2006 (UTC)

Movie
editThe paragraph about the recent film does not belong here and I am removing it. I'm fairly sure that it has its own page and it is completely unrelated to the Disney parks. --- It doesn't stick. (talk) 18:37, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
Aladdin and Jasmine?
editIn disneyland park (Anaheim) there is also an attraction that features "Aladdin and Jasmine's Storytime Adventures" or something close to that, though it is frequently closed. Should we include it anyway? Shinku Hisaki 05:22, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
- To my understanding that was temporary--TimothyJacobson (talk) 19:39, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
Captain Hooks Ship at Disneyland Paris
editDoes this need to be listed as a closed attraction? It used to be a walk through boat that also used to stage a Peter Pan show however it now is not accessable unless someone opens the Cast members only gate and leaves it open —Preceding unsigned comment added by Townender07 (talk • contribs) 15:21, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
- Are you sure it had a Peter Pan show there? The ship was just a restaurant with a play area on top, like the one in California?--TimothyJacobson (talk) 19:39, 29 February 2012 (UTC)

Shanghai Disneyland Attractions
editI've added an unreferenced notice to the part concerning Shanghai Disneyland. It looks like this list was copied from a forum post. I couldn't find any reliable sources for this information. Please advise if you have any. Not sure if other land-specific pages on Wikipedia are also affected. Kidburla (talk) 16:20, 10 July 2015 (UTC)
- I deleted the content, pending confirmation in reliable sources. It can wait until we get the facts. --McDoobAU93 16:38, 10 July 2015 (UTC)
