"not limiting to the diaspora"

edit

This wording makes no sense unless it's made clear first that it's an American movement. Why else would anyone assume that a movement about Africa was limited to its diaspora? Prinsgezinde (talk) 23:59, 19 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hmm, reading it now, it seems like a strange wording. What you would propose it be changed to? Historyday01 (talk) 02:29, 20 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

For the interested, I have identified several more sources for the term that may help in expanding the article. I have institutional access and will read myself to see what is helpful and what is not, but am posting here so that others can as well. [1] [2] [3] [4] (not sure if reliable) [5] [6] [7] (odd source but no reason to suspect unreliability IMO) [8] I notice also that the Africanfuturism anthology is mentioned but not cited. I happen to own this book and would be pleased to include some quotations from it if possible. :-) Cheers, postleft ✍ (Arugula) ☞ say hello! 20:11, 15 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello Postleft, you can add those sources to help expand the article, I am this and other sources you listed is reliable IMO. I mean, we’re not trying to promote someone are we? And about the anthology Africanfuturism: An Anthology, it is here. Expansion also needs. Cheers! Reading BeansTalk to the Beans 05:14, 27 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
