Birthplace
editIt is an understandable error that she was born in Baschurch. In fact she was born in London, stated in the Dictionary of National Biography and confirmed by the appearance of her birth registration in the GRO Index 1st quarter 1867 in registration district of St George, Hanover Square. (She does not state her birthplace in her autobiography.) She was certainly brought up in Baschurch where her family were landowners, and died a resident there. I am amending her birthplace reference accordingly with citation to ODNB and GRO Index.Cloptonson (talk) 13:27, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
