Agriculturist → Agronomist – Looking at d:Q1781198, every other language edition of Wikipedia uses "agronomist". Also, the whole category tree uses Category:Agronomists, and moving the page would be much easier than renaming the cats per WP:C2D. ~~~~

- Oppose as well. Perhaps to improve this article is to include other specializations such as Animal scientist for animal farming or Horticulturist for garden crops. Unilimited247 (talk) 18:32, 15 May 2021 (UTC)

Agriculturist is more general
editAgriculturist is more general than Agronomist. Agriculturist is a person who studies Agricultural Science or Agriculture (whole of agriculture including agribusiness, entomology, etc.) whereas an Agronomist studies Agronomy same as Agrology for Agrologist in Canada. Agronomy focuses only on land management and would not include, say, Fisheries, Animal science, Entomology, among others. There are also categories that exists such as :Agriculturalists and Japanese agricultural scientists.
