editHans van Deukeren, Thank you for this important and great article (I even translated it to Hebrew)! I really think this inscription should be widely mentioned in the articles about Sicilian Wars, Siege of Akragas (406 BC), and maybe in Agrigento and in the articles of importent Phoenicians from this war (like Hannibal Mago and Himilco (general); if I understood corectly, they are mentioned in the inscription). I would do it myself, but editing in English is too hard for me. let me know your opinion, פעמי-עליון (talk) 21:24, 22 November 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you for your enthusiastic reaction and useful suggestion (and also for taking the trouble to translate the article!). I will take up your suggestion and explore where mentioning the inscription might be fitting. Hans van Deukeren (talk) 15:37, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
- I am happy to contribute my humble contribution to the Canaanite history. Good luck, פעמי-עליון (talk) 20:27, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
PN = face?
editI believe TNT-PN-B'L means "Tanit, the face of Ba'al." An epithet similar to "The name of Ba'al." Temerarius (talk) 02:35, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
