Knowledge of the marriage

The information on Augustin's page about how his relationship with Queen Regent Maria Christina was perfectly well known, is not consistent with the information on Maria Christina's page which says that public knowledge of the marriage was one of the reasons she was exiled. Ecuador

I have removed the following passage which comes from the 1911 Britannica: "and it is said that he declined the offer of the crown of Ecuador". Britannica has clearly confused the father with his eldest son. 99.242.18.194 (talk) 06:27, 1 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
