editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just modified one external link on Ahl-i Hadith. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:

More attempts at subtle POV pushing
editAfter checking out dishonest citations with The Muslim World After 9/11, I gave the lead a good lookover and realized that there's renewed POV pushing by this movement's theological opponents taking place. Similar to what was being pushed by Baboon43, Msoamu and other now banned Wiki-con artists, there was a definite attempt in the lead to push the view that Ahl-I Hadith, Salafism and Wahhabism are one and the same. This is also similar to the view people such as the above were pushing at the time: that Salafism and Wahhabism themselves are just one thing.
The view is convenient for followers of some Sufi movements as it allows them to cast aside all theological opponents as essentially one and the same, and ultimately connected to Saudi Arabia only. Not only is it historically ignorant, but also a great disservice to the encyclopedia and its readers. I'm leaving this comment here on the talk page just as a record that the renewed attempt has been noticed. MezzoMezzo (talk) 03:24, 21 March 2017 (UTC)
Listing of Dr Zakir
editDr Zakir Naik has confirmed in one of his lectures that he does not associate himself with Ahle Hadith or any group. This listing is false. Ishan87 (talk) 12:15, 19 November 2020 (UTC)
