- If one can believe the confessions of intelligence operative Saeed Emami as handed down by one-time Ansar-e Hezbollah member Amir Farshad Ebrahimi, Ahmad Khomeini was eliminated in 1995 after a group of highly-placed officials decided that his enmity towards one-time ally Ali Khamenei put him beyond the pale of mercy. --BoogaLouie (talk) 19:57, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

Death
editCurrently the 2nd paragraph of Section #4 Death - "At least one author regarded his death as suspicious, stating that "he died in his sleep", without mentioning the heart attack five days prior and subsequent coma. According to Assembly of the Forces of Imam's Line, the Tehran Times reported that the rumors regarding Ahmad Khomeini's death was originally published by Alireza Nourizadeh, an alleged "British spy". Under duress, his son, Hassan Khomeini "confirmed" this, calling the rumors "baseless" and repeated the claim that they were created by a "British spy"." - doesn't specifically mention the claim he was killed though "indeed" in the first sentence of the following paragraph "However, non-government sources claim that Ahmad Khomeini was indeed killed" suggests that had been mentioned.
Maybe the last sentence of the lede - "He died of heart disease and was buried next to his father." - should be edited. Mcljlm (talk) 23:35, 12 October 2022 (UTC)
