Ahmad Aqil al-Khatib → Ahmed Al Khateeb – All the main results when searching his name are ‘Ahmed Al Khateeb’, i.e. the Ministry of Tourism website, Bloomberg, Oxford Business Group, and pages on Arabian Business and Arab News; 'Ahmed Al Khateeb’ is also the most common spelling in media, see e.g. Arab News, Trade Arabia, Al Arabiya; while ‘Ahmad Al Khatib’ is the most common spelling used to refer to the Syrian president of 1970–71. There is some additional info which this article could include, chiefly that he was responsible for the launch of Saudi Arabia’s tourism visa in 2019. I have prepared a userspace draft – see here (diff) for the proposed additions in detail (which include some copyediting).

Hi, on the advice of User:Z1720, I'm submitting my suggested edits to the intro as an edit request.

1. Change first sentence from:

Ahmed Al Khateeb (Arabic: أحمد الخطيب) is the minister of tourism.

to:

Ahmed Al Khateeb (Arabic: أحمد الخطيب‎) is the first and current Minister of Tourism of Saudi Arabia.

(Note replacement source in English which verifies he's the country's first tourism minister)

2. Change the second and third sentences, which use Hijri dates, from:

Al Khateeb was born in al-Riyadh, 1385. He graduated with a BA in Business Administration from King Saud University, and then he obtained a diploma in Wealth Management from Dalhousie University in Canada.

to:

3. Change:

In 1992, he joined the Bank of Riyadh and worked on the establishment of the Customer Investment department. He worked for eleven years at different managements of the Bank of Riyadh. He also joined SABB Bank in 2003 and participated in the establishment of Islamic Banking (Amanah). Afterwards, he moved to Private Services as a General Manager.

Y@Turaif10: This is done. I made a minor language edit to sentence 2 in paragraph 2 and changed the spelling of counselling to counseling. I also made a minor edit to the final sentence in paragraph 3 (changed at to in).
