Ahmet Düverioğlu → Ahmad Al-Dwairi – He's known as Ahmad Al-Dwairi in FIBA World Cup. 67.149.246.163 (talk) 19:31, 7 September 2019 (UTC) --Relisting. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 12:37, 15 September 2019 (UTC) --Relisting. — Amakuru (talk) 15:01, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
- Weak oppose English language sources seem to use both names (and some even use some hybrid like "Ahmet Al Dwairi"). Based on some casual Google News searching, it seems like "Ahmet Duverioglu" (no diacritics) might be the most commonly used name in English sources, but it's hard to say precisely. FWIW, it seems like his official Instagram uses the current article title, which seems at least useful as a tie-breaker if it's not clear what the WP:COMMONNAME is. This recent article actually begins with "Ahmad Al Dwairi, known to the basketball world mostly by his Turkish name which is Ahmet Duverioglu...". Not sure what to make of that. Anyways, because the situation is hazy (and the nominator hasn't provided any real evidence in favour of the move), I'm defaulting to supporting the status quo.
