The 1996 Chara movie Swallowtail Butterfly featured a song of the same name but also titled Ai no Uta.

Who wrote that song, anyhow? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.221.151.152 (talk) 14:08, 15 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

"The largest purchasing demographic of the song was middle aged men."

edit

Anyone care to cite the source for this? I haven't found any resource that directly states this as true. The statement is also very inconsistent with the previous statement which claims "The song was a remarkable media phenomenon in that it sold equally well to audiences of all ages and tastes.", which leads me to believe that claim of "The largest purchasing demographic of the song was middle aged men." is vandalism. French version

edit

The article currently suggests that the French language version first appeared in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. But there's a CD single of the song released in France in the GameCube era. Though I can't tell if the version it contains is a French or Japanese version, at least that went as far as being released on CD that far from Japan should be notable enough for inclusion.

The French version has also been said to appear on the first Pikmin original soundtrack album, released in 2002, long before Brawl. Probably some further investigation warranted before committing any of this to the article.
