Margin of error
editThe list of aircrafts says there are no reliable sources and to accept a large margin of error. Is this really the best way to go about this? If there are no reliable sources, shouldn't that section be removed until there actually is one? Dreambeaver (talk) 21:21, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
Can we really claim to have reliable sources for most, or indeed any of the air forces our there? I think leaning the list there with the disclaimer suffices Tempest II (talk) 15:19, 14 December 2011 (UTC)
- I just added a lot more info & reference links to this section based on some web research that I've done, and I've changed the possible numbers of aircraft in the table where necessary. This section is still a work in progress as the info that's currently available out there isn't always up to date. As long as the readers are told about these issues, I don't see any problems. - FYI, I tried to use the following website as a reference for the numbers of MiG-23, F-7, FT-5, SIAI Marchetti, Cessna FTB.337G, O-2A, An-12, CASA 212M-200, C-47, Hawker Hunter & BN-2A aircraft and Bell 412, Mi-35P, Mi-24V, AS-532UL, Alouette III & Mi-8 helicopters in this Air Force:
- www.xairforces dot net/airforces.asp?id=37
- but Wikipedia has apparently labelled this site as a "spam" site for some reason. I've got a few more references to check out & add to the Zimbabwe Air Force article soon. Guy1890 (talk) 03:13, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
