Ditching
editThe first mayday was sent just after midnight on 1 August, Further maydays were received on 3 and 4 August. If the aircraft had crashed into the sea on 1 August then these couldn't have been sent two - three days later. Evidence shows that the aircraft ditched on 1 August and broke up and sank on 4 August.
