Airnav is listed in the External Links for this page. However, it does not appear to provide copies of the official A/FD page for any airport. It is not the best choice for an external link. I suggest that a different site is chosen to replace it, one that DOES show the official, current A/FD page. There are a few sites that do this. Comments please? An editor has deleted the Airnav link after I posted this comment saying that nothing else was needed except the FAA link. The FAA link, however, does not provide any directly viewable A/FD pages or even any particular A/FD-derived data. There are a few websites that do provide current A/FD pages, viewable for free as .pdf files. I propose a link to one or more of these sites. Comments please? - Plenty of official, up to date, current PDFs in NACO's digital - Airport/Facility Directory (d-A/FD). ie. Atlanta. No need to link your site here either. --Dual Freq (talk) 01:23, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
The FAA's site requires surfing thru multiple pages, installing Active-X controls, and is by their own admission "still under development" and only safely supports one browser.
digital - Airport/Facility Directory (d-A/FD) This online application is currently under development, and has compatible issues with certain web browsers and web browser versions - including Internet Explorer 7 and Safari. Until we can resolve these issues we recommend that you download and install Mozilla's Firefox.
I'm sure we can find a better application (easier, more stable) than this. Comments please? Gladtohelp (talk) 01:42, 15 February 2008 (UTC)gladtohelp
