Removed "Current teachers of the Senior School" section
editI have removed the section on Current teachers of the Senior School. Wikipedia does not exist to inform everyone on all the current teachers that exist at a particular school. Also, it is always open to change and also not easily verifiable. Only notable people from that school should be written about for instance, the President or Headteacher.--Waqas1987 (talk) 18:57, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
Revamping
editThe page needs a major facelift.. a section for extra curriculars/sports/facilities etc should be present, as should number of students, subjects offered, and a better history of the evolution of the school itself. might do when there's time.. help would be appreciated!
Unsupported claims
editI have just wikified this page. However I removed the final line (see below) written by Shahkaal:
Aitchison has produced many scholars, politicians, sportsman and business leader through out south Asia making it one of the best high school in Asia.
This claim is unsupported. Matthew kokai 04:17, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
Some Aitchison Facts
editAnybody who is anybody in Punjab, Pakistan sends his boys to Aitchison - this includes all the lawmakers, all the elite industrialists, all the major entertainers,...in short if you live in Punjab, Pakistan, you WILL send your son/s to Aitchison - if you can afford to do so. Many Aitchison graduates go on to attend American universities like Harvard, MIT, Princeton, UC Berkley,Waterloo(canada), Brown, Dartmouth, and so on.
Aitchison has an alumni association which is called ACOBA (Aitchison College Old Boys' Association). Students at Aitchison are called Aitchisonian.
An alumni of Aitchison is informally called an old boy within the Aitchison community.
Quantifying the claim
editAitchison along with the Doon School and Mayo of India are like the Eton, Rugby and Harrow of South Asia. Ofcourse this cannot be measured scientifically but like Harvard and Yale or Cambrigde and Oxford it an undiputable fact of popular conception.
Fair use rationale for Image:Aitchison-logo.jpg
editImage:Aitchison-logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 19:20, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

Assessment
editI am assessing this article for WikiProject Schools following a request at WP:WPSCH/A#R. I am raising the importance rating to High given the very impressive list of former alumni, including former prime ministers. This article should be given serious consideration for Top-importance, though I would like to see better referencing for the alumni before granting it. Also, a separate sub-article should probably be created for the alumni rather than just having a pop open box, with a short summary left in this article, see List of Boston Latin School alumni for an ideal example. One massive weakness in this article as it stands is lack of references, and with only one secondary source cited, this article does not currently even pass WP:N. Please see WP:CITE and WP:CITET for help on citing sources. Per WP:ASSESS an article with such little referencing can not be given higher than Start-class. The lead probably needs expanding to better summarise the article, see WP:LEAD. This article also needs a proper infobox, not a table, see WP:WPSCH#General infoboxes. Finally, the "Introduction" section should probably be merged with "History", see WP:WPSCH/AG#S for suggested article sections. CT Cooper · talk 17:15, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
- Well, we shall try. Apparently there are not too many active citizens from Pakistan, so this would be slow. Farjad0322 (talk) 17:27, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
Insertion of unsourced content
editI have cleaned up this article more than once now. Please read WP:V and do not just insert content without proper inline cites (and please do not forget to provide page no.s). Thanks.OrangesRyellow (talk) 10:54, 26 April 2013 (UTC)

School admissions catalog
editThis whole article seems to me to read like a school admissions catalog, rather than a Wikipedia article. Im not entirely sure how to tag it and how to amend it and how to bring it the notice of senior Wikipedia editors for proper detailed editing? Guidance requested thanks 39.54.50.130 (talk) 19:48, 9 July 2017 (UTC) Col (r) Mumtaz, Pakistan
