Image copyright
editI think the image falls under fair use protection, reasons given in the image page itself, but briefly:
The source does not state copyright information and doesn't credit the artist, and the image is used for nonprofit reasons, and its reproduction here is used for nonprofit and educational reasons. If you're certain it doesn't apply, then alright, but until that time I've restored the image, if only temporarily. - Theli 93
- That's fine with me. I routinely remove images that don't have copyright info, but I don't necessarily mind them being put back, certainly not if they acquire copyright info. Also, I never assume fair use on images that other people upload, but, if you want to claim it, I won't argue, either. - Nat Krause 10:11, 22 August 2005 (UTC)
- I should have put the copyright info on the page to begin with, but I'm a fairly new user on wikipedia and wasn't sure how to do it. Just wanted to clarify in greater detail why I think it qualifies as fair use, despite the lack of available copyright info. - Theli 93
