Monastery??
editI never heard of a monastery in Al-Burayj? Nearby Beit Jimal and Deir Rafat: yes, but Al-Burayj? Pinging User:Padres Hana, as he added the pictures. Huldra (talk) 20:58, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
- 'Monastery' is not mentioned in the Palmach text (using machine translation). I really don't know how it got into the caption. Have changed text to 'Building" - the Hebrew does say al-Burayj (I think). Well spotted. Padres Hana (talk) 19:00, 12 August 2021 (UTC)
- I see the map has "(House)" written just above the mass of the village. Could that be the building in question. Padres Hana (talk) 19:04, 12 August 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks User:Padres Hana; I compared it with the buildings at Beit Jimal and Deir Rafat: nothing fit. It could possibly be (a later version?) of the Sheikh's house; noted as large by Guérin and SWP. Anyway: thanks for fixing it! Huldra (talk) 21:01, 12 August 2021 (UTC)
