Another necessary move
editIt looks like this is another article whose official name is less common in English-language sources than its native one, so per WP:COMMONNAME we'll have to move to Çilaxa. Konli17 (talk) 09:08, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
Oppose. Ok seriously, this is so ridiculous it’s actually hilarious. You want to Kurdify every town in northeastern Syria. And then what, you’re going to Iraq, Syria, and Iran and rename the cities there too? And why not let’s just rename Syria, Kurdistan, after all it is part of extreme Kurdish nationalism to claim the area between the Indian Ocean and Mediterranean Sea as Kurdistan. Even the YPG doesn’t want to rename cities. They just want autonomy not independence. Thepharoah17 (talk) 10:52, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
:Please stop projecting, and see WP:COMMONNAME. For article titles, we use the name most frequently used in English-language sources, whether that be Arabic, Kurdish, Assyrian, or whatever. Do you accuse the editors of the Cologne article of trying to Frankify German cities, because it's not named Köln? Konli17 (talk) 11:01, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
- Konli17, can you stop your POV-pushing campaign? Amr ibn Kulthoumعمرو بن كلثوم (talk) 17:13, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
:::WP:COMMONNAME is not POV. Can you answer the question I put to Pharoah17? Konli17 (talk) 17:20, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
- Although I don't really have time to entertain your immature nationalist adventures, al-Jawadiah gets millions of hits vs. your Cilaxa at 55,000 hits. So, even your common name pretext does not fly. Amr ibn Kulthoumعمرو بن كلثوم (talk) 19:02, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
:::::I hope you can make the time Amr, because the link you posted shows me 6,060 results, not the "millions" you have claimed for it. I'd also like you to stop projecting. Konli17 (talk) 19:25, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
- Konli commonname is sometimes pov, see here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:2019_Turkish_offensive_into_north-eastern_Syria/Archive_4#Requested_move_2_December_2019 Shadow4dark (talk) 21:38, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
:::::::Do you believe it would be POV in this instance? Konli17 (talk) 22:17, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
- Can confirm I also get 6030 hits where Ibn Amr claims there are millions. Cilaxa gets 54.100... I think this is not a good argument you have there, Ibn Amr.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 22:33, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
- PC he wants change all kurdish controlled towns. Do you think this is NPOV?Shadow4dark (talk) 03:15, 20 August 2020 (UTC)

::::::::::S4D, it doesn't matter who controls what. What matters is WP:COMMONNAME. Konli17 (talk) 03:28, 20 August 2020 (UTC)
- Did you check my link above?Shadow4dark (talk) 03:50, 20 August 2020 (UTC)
Is it that PC and Konli don't want to see it or am I missing something? The google hits link shows "About 2,180,000 results" for al-Jawadiah. Amr ibn Kulthoumعمرو بن كلثوم (talk) 03:52, 20 August 2020 (UTC)
:Are you using an English-language search? I gave you the exact figure of results that your link gave me. Konli17 (talk) 03:58, 20 August 2020 (UTC)
- I used the exact link Ibn Amr delivered. The link is about google hits, and today it shows only 6020. A bit less than yesterday. I just say that Konli is using the better argument here, and Ibn Amr is not really presenting good arguments, and defends them as accurate.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 07:32, 20 August 2020 (UTC)
- Konli one more page wich is not moved, per commonname. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Kurdish%E2%80%93Turkish_conflict_(1978%E2%80%93present)#Requested_move_23_July_2020 Like here several editors will oppose it and it will be not moved if they not like it even if it is a commonname.
