Problem in the 1945 data.

edit

I thought United Nations Conciliation Commission for Palestine, A/AC.25/Com.Tech/7/Add.1 and Hadawi were based on the same numbers??

However, looking at just one page (p. 41) in Hadawi, and comparing it with the UN-data, gives totally different data:

(Hadawi first number (for “Arabs”), UN second number (total for “non-Jewish”):

How is this explained? Huldra (talk) 20:07, 20 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Ignore the html text; it is badly scrambled. Use the PDF file at the bottom of the page. Here. Zerotalk 09:20, 21 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Is Al-Ruways actually the Crusader Careblier??

edit

Khalidi, 1992 writes that Al-Ruways is Crusader Careblier, and it looks as this agrees with Clermont-Ganneau(?)

However, Conder, 1890, p. 35 seem to suggest el Khureibeh on Mount Carmel. That is still on SWP map 5. It was noted by Guerin, 1875, p. 249, and SWP I:322 ("ruins of a village, destroyed by Ibrahim Pasha") And Bronstein, 2005, p. 46 refers to a Tel el Charruba as the Careblier mentioned in 1266. Can there be more than one Careblier? See also R.H.C. p. 133, Cheers, Huldra (talk) 21:24, 20 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
