editObviously he was an Iranian writer born in Neishapur city of Khorasan (in present-day Iran) who wrote several great books in Arabic, one of them a book on lives of Banu Sasan (The Sassanid Dynasty of Persia) in 250 pages and several other books specifically on Persian culture and sociology.
