Al-Salam Stadium (Cairo)Al Salam Stadium – This stadium is the only one with that name on Wikipedia, so there is no need to have the location included in the title. There is another stadium in Israel called HaShalom Stadium, which means Al Salam Stadium in English, but If you search the internet for Al Salam Stadium, almost all of the results will be about the stadium in Egypt, so I also believe that the disambiguation page should be deleted too. Al-Salam Stadium (Cairo)Al Salam Stadium – There are only two stadiums known as Al Salam Stadium. One located in Egypt and the other in Israel. However only the stadium in Egypt is officially known with that name; the other stadium in Israel is officially known as HaShalom Stadium and sometimes refereed to as Al Salam Stadium. With that being said, I don't think a WP:DAB article (Al-Salam Stadium) is needed. I think that it should be deleted and the stadium in Egypt should be moved to Al Salam Stadium with a WP:HAT added on top of the article to avoid confusion with the other stadium in Israel. The stadiums in Egypt hosts the matches for two top tier sides in Egypt and sometimes it also hosts matches for the Egypt national football team; while the stadium in Israel is the home for two clubs playing in the third and fourth tiers in the country. Thus - deleting the DAB and having a hat note directing to the Israeli one is a good solution in my opinion sine the Egyptian usage is by far the most common. How would that make the article more ambiguous? A DAB is simply not needed. Ben5218 (talk) 17:55, 19 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
It would be ambiguating by taking away the information which of two stadiums is meant. In ictu oculi (talk) 19:56, 19 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
There will be a hatnote on top of the article to avoid confusion with the stadium in Israel. Ben5218 (talk) 09:52, 20 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

The result of the move request was: Moved to Al Salam Stadium (Egypt). There is no consensus here to move to the Al Ahly name, but nobody is saying the present name is explicitly good, and there is some support for going back to the previous title, before the Undiscussed move. Some editors said "wait", for the naming situation in English to become clearer, obviously if the situation is clearer some months from now then a new RM could be opened.  — Amakuru (talk) 07:21, 22 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

El-Salam Stadium → ? – Okay so, on 4 December 2019, Egyptian football club Al Ahly announced that they acquired the stadium from the Egyptian Ministry of Military Production until 2045, and announced that the stadium's name will be changed to Al Ahly Stadium. Few days ago, exactly on 12 August 2020, the stadium's official name was officially changed to the name mentioned before, and banners around the stadium showing that the full name is Al Ahly WE Stadium, while at the same time, it also showed the old name, Al Salam Stadium, below those banners. However, the club president of El Entag El Harby, a club owned by the Egyptian Ministry of Military Production that used to play their home matches on that stadium, released a statement yesterday stating in it that "the stadium's official name didn't change from Al Salam Stadium and won't ever change.". Now for my moving proposal we have two options here: The first one is to move the article to Al Salam Stadium (Egypt) as the proper way to spell the stadium (which was the article's name before a user moved it to Al Ahly Stadium, then another user moved it to its current informal name); while the second option is to move it to Al Ahly Stadium, which a lot of online sources started to use already. Personally I don't mind either but I'd lean to the first proposal, though at the same time it might be better to wait for other sources to clear things up.
