Merger proposal
editI propose this merger as the subject is not notable enough for a stand-alone article and the airline article would benefit from it's inclusion--Petebutt (talk) 21:52, 2 January 2017 (UTC)
- DISAGREE. I totally disagree with the merger proposal, because I think the article is notable like the one in the it.wikipedia that I used as a reference when I created the stub. Indeed I am going to enlarge the article with translations of excerpts from the original Italian article (it:Linea dell'Impero). Furthermore, I think Wikipedia needs to be enlarged and not reduced with mergers: I plan to write a similar article about the "Imperial Route" (or 'Eastern Route') of the UK's Imperial Airways from London to India/Australia.--Nmolos (talk) 13:32, 3 January 2017 (UTC)
- If there really is sufficient quantity and quality of information about that route - which, I am afraid, will take some doing - the split can still be performed. An intended future extension of the article is no reason to not merge now. And no, IMHO we do not want lots of articles, we want good articles, in whatever quantity. - I Disagree for the same reasons of Nmolos. Both are good articles IMHO, and should remain separated.--Prosimy (talk) 02:36, 7 May 2017 (UTC)
- I Disagree. After one year the tag is going to be removed. BD — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:CD95:5860:45BD:83B1:2C4:653E (talk) 04:21, 25 December 2017 (UTC)

Misguiding controversy in the description of crash on 4 December 1939
editFollowing the database record of the Aviation Safety Network (see Aviation Safety Network: Accident Description), the article insists, that the 1939 crash of Ala Littoria Junkers Ju 52/3mlu occured
struck a hillside near Bayerisch Eisenstein, Germany, at an altitude of about 1000 meters (3281 feet) during the final leg of a flight from Munich to Berlin
However, since Bayerisch Eisenstein is near Munich, not Berlin, one of two claims of the abovequoted statement is wrong:
- either the accident took place soon after the takeoff, i.e. during the first (and not the final) leg of a flight from Munich to Berlin,
- or the airports in the flight description should be itemized in the reverse order, i.e. "from Berlin to Munich"
Since we cannot change this apparent controversy at the source of information, I suppose to make the relevant clause in our reference to this database record. Cherurbino (talk) 09:39, 13 October 2017 (UTC)
