Oxford High School
editOxford High School (Oxford) is a girls' school. So I think that this may well be an error, and that Alan Hopes may well have attended another school in Oxford before his family moved to north London. --Coyets 11:06, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
I've changed it to City_of_Oxford_High_School_for_Boys, as this recent official biography does still mention "Oxford High School": http://www.catholicchurch.org.uk/Home/Featured/Pope-Francis-Appoints-New-Bishop-of-East-Anglia/Biography 92.29.250.42 (talk) 12:53, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
Episcopal Ordination
editAt 58, given that at the time he was single (and thus eligible to be ordained to the Roman Catholic episcopate under canon law), he was appointed... This is a crazy way of putting it. He still is single (of course), and the fact that he was then would have been the most trivial of grounds for making him a bishop. — Preceding unsigned comment added by C0pernicus (talk • contribs) 14:13, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
For clarity - this appears to have been fixed now, by the commenter themselves. 92.29.250.42 (talk) 13:15, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
