hi,
I received the following comments but I have edited accordingly:
This article contains weasel words: vague phrasing that often accompanies biased or unverifiable information. (February 2018)
The topic of this article may not meet Wikipedia's notability guideline for biographies. (February 2018)
This article has an unclear citation style. (February 2018)
Please advise if I still need to improve?
Thank you.— Preceding unsigned comment added by AshleyLau (talk • contribs)
@AshleyLau: Descriptive embellishments like "illustrious" and "lifelong passion" need to be removed. You list references, but it is not clear what the references are referencing. Please review WP:CITE for information on how to properly cite sources within the article. At least one of the references comes up as not found. Please also review WP:BIO for the notability guidelines. 331dot (talk) 09:04, 19 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
This page also should be moved to a new title without Mr. Yu's occupation or title in it(just "Alan Yu") per standard policy. I can do that if you wish. 331dot (talk) 09:06, 19 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

@331dot: Thank you for everything. I have deleted the descriptive embellishments. I will further study the guideline these days although I have used to do so, and will do the necessary improvement accordingly.
Thank you for kindness in trying to help. I prefer keep the title since it is more easy to search under “Chef Alan Yu” instead of just “Alan Yu”? Speaking of which, can you help separate AlanYu into the two words for me? So it will come up with “Chef Alan Yu”. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AshleyLau (talk • contribs) 10:31, 20 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
@AshleyLau:Wikipedia does not normally have occupations, honorifics, or titles in the names of articles. This is standard policy (see this link about that). Currently I have moved the page to this title, "Alan Yu (chef)" as Alan Yu is a redirect to an article about another person. The best you could do in enabling people to search for "Chef Alan Yu" would be to create that page as a redirect to this one which I would be willing to do.
I see that currently the plain title Alan Yu is currently a redirect to an article called Yu Menglong. You may wish to open a discussion at that article's talk page as to if they would agree that Chef Alan Yu should be moved to the title "Alan Yu" with a disambiguation link to Yu Menglong at the top("You may be looking for the actor Yu Menglong, also known as Alan Yu.") 331dot (talk) 11:00, 20 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
@331dot:Thank you. I am totally new to Wiki community. Just on board. Thanks for your advice. I have opened a new discussion regarding the disambiguation link. Will see. AshleyLau (talk) 01:05, 21 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
