I would be a little careful with explanations of town names in the Philippines, or at least take them with a grain of salt. It is always spanjards asking 'what is this place called' and people thinking they ask 'what are you doing' This is a somewhat similar story. If it is true, no doubt half of the places in the Phils would be called 'alang-alang' user:geo2011 7-3-2011 —Preceding undated comment added 14:54, 7 March 2011 (UTC).
