Using the subject's own information and references
editBased on previous talk Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Alastair_Galpin it appears as though Alastair has earned the ire of some for self-promotion. I am and will be tidying up this article to introduce the links and references to his achievements as HE mentioned them in the above link, and as suggested by one editor: "Plenty of other independent media references cited above, if people want these adding to the page."
It seems to me logical that material supplied by him (as long as it can be verified by external sources and meets Wikipedia guidelines of course) may as well be used. Better to have the information supplied by him on the public page rather then hiding in the discussion notes! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.176.77.137 (talk) 06:08, 29 January 2011 (UTC)
