Size matters, so does existing
editWould somebody care to prove that the "village" of Alaw exists? There is a Llyn Alaw, well-known to local fishermen, and a small stream Afon Alaw, but no such place as Alaw. Certainly no settlement of any description unless it's a cottage or farm that is shown on the 1:25,000 OS map but not the 1:50,000 Anglesey map. At the grid ref given here the latter gives a blank space of marshy land north of Llanerchymedd. Some people seem determined to class every farmhouse in Wales as a settlement. I'm all for expanding the Wales cats, but this is getting ridiculous! Enaidmawr (talk) 23:41, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
