Hello Iaof2017! I will complete a review within a week. -Riley1012 (talk) 01:20, 4 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Note: this represents where the article stands relative to the Good Article criteria. Criteria marked   are unassessed

1. Well-written

  • "The nation's highest placing in the contest, to this point, had been the seventh place..." should just be "had been seventh place"
  • "The competition consisted of three semi-finals on 23 and 24 December, respectively..." This is confusing, were there three semi-finals on two days or only two semi-finals?
  • "There were two different categories in Festivali i Këngës, including for the established and newcomer artists." Should change to "There were two different categories in Festivali i Këngës- one for established artists and one for newcomer artists"
  • "Due to technical problems with the orchestra, the basic music was in playback." Based on the source the artists were still singing live while the music track wasn't live, so you should explain that.
  • "17 contestants participated..." Sentences shouldn't start with a numeral- write out "Seventeen"
  • "...compete for the grand final, although the top 10 countries from the respective semi-final progress to the grand final." This sentence is too long. Put the information about the top 10 countries in each semifinal advancing to the final as a separate sentence.
  • " ...; Albania was set to perform in position 3, following Norway and preceding Armenia." Again, this sentence is too long. Put the part after the semicolon as a separate sentence.

2. Verifiable All statements are sourced. Reliable sources. Spot check looks good.

3. Broad

  • Was there anything notable after the competition, such as a reaction to not qualifying for the final? Don't worry if you can't find anything.

4. Neutral The article is neutral.

5. Stable The article is stable.

6. Illustrated No photos included. Could you add an image of Esprit Arena in the "At Eurovision" section and/or an image of Aurela Gaçe?

Hi Iaof2017, once these prose issues are fixed, this article will be ready for GA status. -Riley1012 (talk) 19:12, 10 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
