The article is missing a photo of its subject, which should preferably be recent. See WP:IMG, WP:IUP, WP:C. -The Gnome (talk) 05:59, 4 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Political Candidate in 2002??

edit

The Italian Wikipedia lists a person named Alberto Grandi as a 2002 candidate for a leading (mayor?) position in Busto Arsizio: it:Elezioni comunali in Lombardia del 2002#Busto Arsizio. This candidate lost the elections against a right-wing candidate. Does anyone know whether this political candidate Alberto Grandi is the Lemma person of this article? --Himbeerbläuling (talk) 09:03, 21 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Falsehoods

edit

In my opinion it makes no sense to publish articles in an encyclopedia stating that the real Parmigiano Reggiano comes from Wisconsin, that pizza and carbonara are American, and other very serious nonsense from a very sensationalist professor; it's clear that these are absurd falsehoods. Hey, JacktheBrown, you've made some edits here that I'm very concerned about. You removed a source for the year of birth, here, but left the full date; the cite should have been left but the day/month removed as uncited. Here you removed cites to Fox and Financial Times with an edit summary of "Removed bias references", leaving content unsourced. The correct move if you think refs are dubious would be to mark these as better source needed, but why did you think they were biased? Here you added into the lead that he's "controversial" with no source, no edit summary, no statement of that assertion within the article. Here you removed a see also without explanation. Here you removed a whole bunch of sources, leaving a ton of content -- entire paragraphers, nearly the entire 'controversies' section -- uncited, with an edit summary "removed repetitive references". Let's talk. Valereee (talk) 15:12, 19 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
