Reid Austin?
editAs the co-author of Vargas' autobiography, Reid Austin would be an excellent source to update this bio. If anyone has any way to contact him, it would be great if he could visit and update this article. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by NoBiggie (talk • contribs) 21:12, 26 January 2007 (UTC).
No examples?
editI'm a little surprised there aren't at least two examples of his works, any artist article should be able to use at least a couple under fair-use guidelines.

I recently expanded the largely stub entry on Alberto Vargas. I would really like to expand it further with more details about the works from different periods of his life and the evolution of his style and techniques. To do so, would need images... generally close ups of small sections of original paintings showing detail of techniques he used. Is there a consensus as to whether these images of very small portions of paintings (such as fingers or an eye) to illustrate an artist's techniques would be within the fair use policy?
