I remember going to many Dukes games when we lived there from 83-93. It is my strong recollection that the drive-in/picnic area covered the whole arc of the outfield, not just the right field as stated in the article. Maybe it is the pony kegs that my co-workers and I would take turns bringing, but I remember that we would set up in all different parts of the outfield "bleacher" areas based on sun angle or whatever. I didn't want to change the article without any proof other than my memory. If there is someone still in Albuquerque that could verify this first, before changing it, that would be better.
