Fair use rationale for Image:Alchemist1.png
editImage:Alchemist1.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Comparisons with Atic Atac?
editI've just removed the following sentence:
"Its atmosphere and play style drew comparisons with Atic Atac.[1][2]"
I know what it means - it means that when Atic Atac was released, Atic Atac was compared to Alchemist, but the above sentence implies that it was the other way round - which can't have happened, as Alchemist was released a year before Atic Atac. I can't think of an elegant way to rephrase it, so I've removed it until I - or another editor - can. a_man_alone (talk) 19:46, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
- I can clarify. The phrasing from the reviews are:
"At first sight the game, with its cartoon maze and wizard as the central character, may remind you of the Ultimate Atic Atac. The extra features of the game, however, compensate for the similarity and there is much more variation in the maze construction and the creatures which will be seeking your blood." (Sinclair User issue 24)
- and
"The game is not unlike Atic Atac in feeling, and has about the same level of playability." (Crash issue 2)
- Atic Atac and Alchemist were both published in 1983 - the two reviews above were published in 1984. That both magazines made the comparison, I thought, was significant. Marasmusine (talk) 22:06, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
- Sure if that's the case then the original statement can go back in - I was positive that Atic Atac was released after Alchemist, but if a later review draws comparisons to both despite the release dates, that's fair enough. a_man_alone (talk) 16:09, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
- Cheers, I'll put it back. Marasmusine (talk) 17:34, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
