I believe that in Manitoba adults may buy alcoholic drinks for minors of any age if it accompanies a meal in a licensed establishment. I don't know about other provinces and "most jurisdictions" is a bit vague, especially since so much of the article is unsourced. --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 02:25, 1 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure what "In most jurisdictions, alcohol may not be sold to persons of legal age who intend to transfer it to minors. The SAQ ... also does not provide packaging for its products in order to make such sales explicit" means. I presume such sales are illegal, so it doesn't make sense to make them "explicit". Does it mean to imply that no bags are used, so that it would be too obvious if someone passed a bottle to a minor? Or does it mean that packaging is provided which warns against such transactions?
