Conflict of Interest Edit Request

edit
  • Specific text to be added or removed: Verify objectivity of article and references. Add additional references.
  • Reason for the change: I have a COI (I know the composer).

Not done for now: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. Actualcpscm (talk) 20:06, 19 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
It's good that you declared your COI, but you created this article. It is not considered appropriate for users with a COI to create articles on the subject that they have a COI in. Please adhere to the relevant policies, found here: WP:COI. Actualcpscm (talk) 20:10, 19 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
I followed the procedures for creating an article with a COI, as outlined in both https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest and the Articles for Creation wizard. This included declaring a COI on my user page, submitting a Request for Edit, and submitting the article for peer review through the Articles for Creation process. The purpose of this edit request was to get an objective review of the article stub, as a countermeasure to the COI, as recommended in the Articles for Creation wizard. IrrationalOptimism (talk) 21:02, 19 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Article created by COI editor

edit

This article was created by a COI editor, @IrrationalOptimism, who has so far been the only one to make significant content contributions. They have declared that they know the subject of the article personally. I would rewrite it, but I don't really have the time right now. Might come back to it later.
