Alexander Fraser (British Army officer) → Alexander Fraser (British Army officer, born 1824) – Insufficient disambiguation. Alexander Fraser, 17th Lord Saltoun, Alexander Fraser, 20th Lord Saltoun, and Alexander Mackenzie Fraser were all British Army officers. BD2412 T 23:57, 30 August 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nomination and would also support Alexander Fraser (British Army officer) → Alexander Fraser (British general, born 1824) or simply Alexander Fraser (British Army officer) → Alexander Fraser (general, born 1824), depending upon consensus. Two of the other three men were also British generals. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 02:07, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
- No objection to any of these alternatives. The aim here is to move away from the current ambiguity. BD2412 T 18:18, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
- Closing comment: There are several alternatives here with no particular preference, so I'm going to invoke Andrew's Principle and go with the original proposal. Any help now in fixing the Wikilinks that point to the old title appreciated although it is my responsibility. Then we can point the original name to the DAB at Alexander Fraser.
