Translating from [1],[2]: His close friend M.I. Klyaver, also a former member of the Socialist Revolutionary Party, who lived in Israel, wrote March 30, 1953 to M.V. Vishnyakov: "I do not know whether you have received information about the death of A.I. Pogrebetsky. He died in Tel Aviv 3 months ago from liver cancer. This is my old friend, with whom I was personally tied by 40 years of friendship. Margarita Fadeyevna is taking the loss hard. He died young - he was only 61."
I see this as the only evidence of date, no others in the net, and it clearly shows the death after or during the New Year holidays, i.e. 1953. Any other sources showing 1952 do not cite anything in support.--Figure19 (talk) 18:57, 22 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
Unfortunately the source does not give an exact date but the biography of Pogrebetsky in the Archives International catalogue states explicitly 1952 and that certainly ties in with "3 months ago" from 30 March. I believe the Archives International biography (which I own) to be most reliable as they clearly prepared it in collaboration with his family who they must have been in close contact with over the sale of his collection and who would certainly have known his date of death. Neither of the sources you mention above appear to be reliable sources for our purposes. The biography in bonistika.net is written by a user named "qwerty". I am unsure of the reliability of socialist-revolutionist.ru. In any case neither website gives an exact date of death. I think we should stay with 1952 until another reliable source gives us an exact date. Philafrenzy (talk) 19:49, 22 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
