Alexis Díaz → Alexis Diaz – There are seven men listed upon the Alexis Diaz disambiguation page, two of whom are American and one (surnamed "Dias") is Portuguese. Since not all of the men use an accent within their surname, the dab page main title header should be likewise unaccented. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 22:21, 4 October 2022 (UTC)
- Support Roman Spinner, you can get it done on RM/TR or wait for the other active editors to chime in. Note the Dias ones are listed as "see also" as they technically are not part of the disambiguation. Also the "see also" includes the WP:PTM names. AngusW🐶🐶F (bark • sniff) 22:35, 4 October 2022 (UTC)
- I appreciate your suggestion regarding RM/TR, but in cases involving addition or deletion of accents and/or diacritics, I found that it is preferable to obtain consensus. As for the entries under section header "See also", as I mentioned in the nomination, there is only one "Dias", with no consistency regarding the six men named "Diaz" / "Díaz". As can be seen, above "See also", there are two men named "Alexis Diaz/Díaz" and one named "Alex Diaz/Díaz", while below "See also", there are two man named "Alex Diaz/Díaz" and one named "Alexis Diaz/Díaz".
- Perhaps I should have structured the nomination as Alexis Díaz → Alex Diaz since "Alex Diaz" can refer to either "Alexis Diaz" / "Alexis Díaz" or "Alexander Diaz" / "Alexander Díaz". If consensus prefers "Alex Diaz" as the main header, I will also support that form. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 00:02, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
