Gentle Annie
editAs Anann, 'Gentle Annie" was responsible for instructing the dying, and also for culling the weak. It is a strange nickname for a doctor whose career included fighting bubonic plague, and using diptheria anti-toxin against a major killer of children. I suspect that this may be an example of medical humor. Pustelnik (talk) 03:46, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
