Abbasi is Iranian-Swedish, not Iranian-Danish, see the Swedish page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MicheleDorigatti (talk • contribs) 09:58, 20 January 2021 (UTC)

Missing references
editHi @Soheila23, you've recently added a significant amount of content to this article, which is great. Many of the awards you've attributed to Abbasi are not referenced, however. Are you able to provide citations for these? Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 05:59, 5 February 2023 (UTC)
Not Danish
editThere is no documentation that justifies that Ali Abbasi can be claimed to be Danish (i.e. nothing ties him to Denmark except living there). As a result, I've removed the claim that he is Danish.
If you feel this is wrong, please provide documentation that he is Danish, such as proof of Danish citizenship. 87.104.34.113 (talk) 12:21, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
- I disagree with your assessment. One of the references refers to him as Iranian-Swedish-Danish; in another, he calls himself a "real Dane"; lastly, he has been living in Denmark since he was 20, so 23 years. Hard to live and work in a country for that long without being at least a resident. I think there's sufficient reason to refer to him as Danish. Besides, not many WP pages provide identity documents to prove a person's citizenship, and I don't think this is required here either. Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 13:02, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
